পর্যালোচনা :
এখানেও আমরা অনুবাদের বৈপরীত্য দেখছি। অনুবাদে কুমারী মায়ের কথা বলা হয়েছে। কিছু অনুবাদে যুবতী মেয়ের কথা বলা হয়েছে; ফলে এ বক্তব্য দ্বারা কুমারী মায়ের কথা প্রমাণ করা যায় না। প্রশ্ন হল, অনুবাদে এত হেরফের কেন ? পাঠক নিম্নের বিষয়গুলাে লক্ষ্য করুন :
(১) যিশাইয়র পুস্তকে কোনাে কুমারী মাতার কথা বলা হয়নি; বরং যুবতী মাতার কথা বলা হয়েছে। যিশাইয়র বক্তব্য দিয়ে কুমারী মাতার ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী প্রমাণ করা যায় না। যিশাইয় ব্যবহৃত মূল হিব্রু শব্দ ‘আলামাহ'। শব্দটা ' আলাম' শব্দের স্ত্রী লিঙ্গ।
ইহুদি পণ্ডিতদের নিকট এর অর্থ হল “যুবতী মেয়ে, সে কুমারী হােক অথবা কুমারী না হােক। "তারা বলেন, এ শব্দটা হিতোপদেশ - এর ৩০ অধ্যায়ে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। সেখানে শব্দটা ‘বিবাহিত যুবতী নারী' অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
২) বাইবেলের কোনাে কোনাে গ্রিক অনুবাদে 'আলামাহ' শব্দটাকে ‘কুমারী' অর্থে অনুবাদ করা হয়েছে। মথির লেখক এ ধরনের কোনাে অনুবাদের উপর নির্ভর করেছে। তবে লক্ষণীয় যে, বাইবেলের প্রাচীন তিনটা গ্রিক অনুবাদ নিম্নরূপ :
(১) আকুইলা (Aquila of Pontus) - এর অনুবাদ।
(২) থিওড়ােশান (Theodotian of Ephesus)
(৩) সীমাকস (Symmachus) এর অনুবাদ। বাইবেল গবেষকদের মতে এগুলাে প্রাচীনতম গ্রিক অনুবাদ। তারা দাবি করেন যে, প্রথমটা ১৩০ খ্রিষ্টাব্দের দিকে, দ্বিতীয়টা ১৭৫ খ্রিষ্টাব্দের দিকে এবং তৃতীয়টা ২০০ খ্রিষ্টাব্দের দিকে সম্পন্ন হয়। ইউসিবিয়াস (৩৪০ খ্রি) তাঁর 'The Ecclesiastical History' গ্রন্থে এ তিনজনের কথা উল্লেখ করেছেন ( পৃষ্ঠা ১৮৯ , ২৩৬) ।
এ তিনটা অনুবাদেই যিশাইয়র বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত আলামাহ শব্দটার অনুবাদ করা হয়েছে 'যুবতী কন্যা ’এতে প্রমাণ হয় যে, মথির ইঞ্জিলটা দ্বিতীয় শতকের পরে রচিত। মথির লেখক ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে 'আলামাহ' শব্দটাকে ভুল অর্থে ব্যবহার করেছেন।
বর্তমানে বাইবেলের অধিকাংশ সংস্করণেই এ বিবৃতি প্রকাশ পেয়েছে । অধিকাংশ সংস্করণে যিশাইয় ৭/১৪ - এর অনুবাদে যুবতী (young woman) এবং মথি ১/২৩ - এর অনুবাদে 'কুমারী (virgin) লেখা হচ্ছে ।
এতে সুস্পষ্টতই প্রমাণিত হচ্ছে যে, মথি যিশাইয়র বক্তব্যটা বিকৃত করে যিশুকে ইমানুয়েল প্রমাণের চেষ্টা চালিয়েছেন।
বর্তমানে প্রচলিত ইংরেজী যে সকল সংস্করণে যিশাইয় ৭/১৪ শ্লোকে যুবতী (young woman) এবং মথি ১/২৩ শ্লোকে কুমারী (virgin) লেখা হয়েছে সেগুলাের মধ্যে রয়েছে :

ইত্যাদি পাঠক ইন্টারনেটে biblegateway.com ওয়েবসাইটে যিশাইয় ৭/১৪ মথি ১ /২২-২৩ অনুসন্ধান করলেই তা জানতে পারবেন বাংলায় কেরি বাইবেলে উভয় স্থানেই কুমারী বাদ দিয়ে ' কন্যা 'লেখা হয়েছে জুবিলী বাইবেলে যিশাইয় ১/১৪ ‘যুবতী’ এবং মথি ১/২৩' কুমারী' লেখা হয়েছে। পবিত্র বাইবেল উভয় স্থানে কুমারী লেখেছে। কিতাবুল মােকাদ্দস উভয় স্থানে ' অবিবাহিত সতী মেয়ে, অর্থাৎ 'কুমারী' লেখেছে ।
সবচেয়ে মজার বিষয় হল কিতাবুল মােকাদ্দস -২০১৩ । আমরা উপরে দেখলাম যে, এ সংস্করণে মথি ১/২৩ - এ কন্যা এবং যিশাইয় ১/১৪ কুমারী কন্যা লেখা হয়েছে । জুবিলী বাইবেলের অনুবাদে মথির বিকৃতি প্রকাশ পেয়েছে । কিতাবুল মােকাদ্দস -২০১৩ বিকৃতি প্রকাশ করেছে উল্টাভাবে ।
(৩) কখনাে কেউ যীশুর নাম 'ইম্যানুয়েল’ রাখেননি তাঁর পিতাও না, মাতাও না বরং তারা তার নাম । রেখেছিলেন যীশু । ফেরেশতা যীশুর পিতাকে স্বপ্নে বলে, তুমি তাহার নাম ঈসা ইয়াসূ , যিহােশূয়, ইউসা, যিশাইয় বা যীশু নাজাতদাতা রাখবে ' (মথি ১/২১ ) জিবরাইল যীশুর মাতাকে বলেন “তাঁর নাম ঈসা রাখবে "(লূক ১/৩১) । যীশু নিজেও বলেননি যে ,তাঁর নাম 'ইমানুয়েল'।
(৪) যিশাইয়ের পুস্তকে যে কাহিনীর মধ্যে এ কথাটা বলা হয়েছে, সে কাহিনীর প্রেক্ষাপটে দেখলে নিশ্চিত বুঝা যায় যে, এ কথাটা কখনােই যীশু খ্রিষ্টের আগমনের ইঙ্গিত বা ভবিষ্যৎবাণী হতে পারে না । (বিস্তারিত দেখুন : যিশাইয় ৭: ১-২৫ ) চিহ্ন প্রসঙ্গে যিশাইয়র ( ৭ /১৪-১৬ )
